Bay-area D.J. Chris-Style wanted to increase his web presence by having his own web site. The goals of the site were to open a channel so he could communicate information to his fans including where he's playing, and even to provide members with samples of his latest mixes.

Chris had a good idea about the type of information he wanted to make available, as well as the look of the site and especially the logo. Working with Chris, I was able to take the elements he had in mind and meld them together into a site design that conveyed the club-scene feel he wanted as well as providing usable access to the information he wanted to get out.

Additionally Chris wanted the ability to update the content of the site himself, which normally isn't a problem, but he also wanted to maintain his current web host account which didn't support dynamic pages or a database. As a solution, the site uses traditional server-side includes for all the content, so Chris only has to edit a portion of the site's code. This lessens the likelyhood that a minor change can break the site, and allows for a better reuse of common code.
