the new Opsware Server Automation System (SAS) desktop application (Java/Swing),
which took the UI from being a
competitive weakness to a competitive advantage.
- Coordinated with Product Management to define features that meet customer
needs as well as maintaining competitive advantages
- Prototyped interface designs (paper and Visio), to gain cross-departmental
sign-off's, and validate against requirements
- Defined detailed user interface specification documents to communicate

- Primary designer for the overall user experience and hybrid
AJAX-enabled
web interface design for the N1 System Manager, which constitutes the
infrastructure provisioning component of Sun's system management software
- Primary designer for the N1 Grid Provisioning Server, which constituted
the datacenter virtualization layer of the N1 Grid System
- Headed product re-branding effort to migrate Terraspring web console product
to match Sun branding and UI guidelines
- Researched requirements, accessed customer needs, and coordinated development process
across multiple departments
- Developed user model, use cases and scenarios which drove the interaction
model and object model development of various Sun products
- Prototyped interface designs (paper, html, and PHP/MySQL),
to gain departmental buy-in's, and validate against requirements
- Contributed to development of new UI architecture
for JATO/JSF/JSP
